A dark figure leaned against a tree, her eyes closed and her head leaned back. Suddenly, someone taper her shoulder. She cracked an eyelid, and both hazel eyes flew open at the sight of the woman standing before her.
"Kisshuni?!" The name lept from her lips, it's sounds dancing around the forest in an echo, ringing in her ears. "What are you doing here? I thought you were dead!" She exclaimed.
The woman smiled kindly, and rested her hand upon Kasumi's shoulder. "No, I am fully alive. And I see that you are making friends in this town, that is wonderful." Her fingers crept towards Kasumi's neck, and touched the beads hanging there. "But you know, you will have to come to terms with your true form eventually, girl, it cannot be avoided."

Kiro walked tiredly through the forest. He had just gotten off work. (We'll say he finally now has a job) XD He kept walking until far off into the forest he noticed two figures, one looked very familiar, the other, a stranger. He squinted, trying to make out who the people were but found out that it was useless unless he got closer.
So he crept closer and he finally saw whop the person was. "Kasumi?" He said staring at her face. The woman grabbed Kasumi's necklace. The woman looked very kind, but Kasumi looked surprised. "Kasumi, what are you doing out here so late?" He asked curiously, walking closer to close the gab between them.

Kasumi's eyes widened. "No." She whispered, but it was too late. Kisshuni had already noticed Kiro, and had figured the best time to remove the necklace. "No!" She struggled to move away, but she was frozen in place by some unseen force. The woman quickly undid the clasp of Kasumi's necklace and suddenly, the beads were gone, dropped to the ground at Kasumi's feet.
Her worst nightmares... were coming true.
A gruesome transformation occurred at the base of that tree, one that Kasumi would never forget. Her once hazel eyes became black as coal, the pupils that of a cat. Her skin stretched and turned a sickly maroon, long cruel black claws grew from her fingers, and her shoes were shredded as her feet and legs became claws upon leathery legs. Ridges erupted from her back, ripping her shirt. Her face became deformed and cat-like. In seconds, a red monster crouched at the base of the tree.
"Don't look at me!" The scream emerged from Kasumi's throat, but it sounded nthing like the girl, it was distorted and ugly. She cowered against the tree. "Don't look at me!"

Tada walked slowly through the trees. The forest had always been one of her favorite places so she was often wandering through it, thinking about what was happening with her life. However, instead of hearing the serene chirping of birds, Tada heard a sudden scream of 'Don't look at me!'. Quickly, Tada started to run to where the shout had come from only to run into a small area where two people stood and some creature. Tada's eyes widened and a hand quickly shot up. The smell was hard to bear but still she stared at the creature. Then after a while she realized the necklace that that was lieing on the floor and she leaned against a tree for support. "K....Kasumi?" She whispered. Kasumi had told Tada that she hated being the cat zodiac but now Tada understood why. Tada slowly stood straight and started to walk toward Kasumi, finally letting her hand fall to her side. "Kasumi.....are you....ok?" She asked in a concerned voice.

Kiro was shocked, surprised, scared, and worried. Kasumi...the reason she had always worn that necklace, the reason she hated being the cat. "Kasumi..." He whispered, his breath hitched in fright. He slowly reached his right hand out, in meanings to grasp her, but his feet wouldn't move. The smell wavered through the air, causing Kiro to cough and gag, so he quickly used his hands to covered his face, just as he saw the newcomer doing.
Kiro had no idea whom the other person was, or why she had did this to Kasumi. Kasumi obviously did not want anyone to see her like this, so why would the stranger take off her necklace. None of it made sense to him, but he knew one thing, that Kasumi was this monstrous form, and no matter how she looked he knew that she was still human and had a human heart which had feelings. Kasumi was hurting now, more than ever and that was Kiro's worst pain. To see someone he cared about hurt. He saw the other girl get closer to Kasumi, which triggered his feet to stumble forth. He could move!
He got past the frightening feelings and saw Kasumi, he knew that she needed him and this girl there for her. Even if she was like this, he would accept it because he cared for Kasumi...he loved her. He began to walk next to Tada to protect her from the figure and to get close to Kasumi. The stench was unbearable, but because Kasumi was on the other side hurting, he would deal with it. He needed to comfort her, to tell her that everything would be alright. 'Don't look at you?' He questioned inside his own mind.
'Haven't I always told you that even if you didn't think so, you were the most beautiful thing on earth?' These words were directed to Kasumi, but he wasn't saying them out loud, they were just playing through his mind as his eyes saddened for Kasumi's pain. "Kasumi...even if..." His words came out as he studdered. "Even if your like this, I won't run away from you!" He said frustrated as he edged closer to her.

"Stay away!" Kasumi's distorted voice screamed. The monster crawled away from the tree, tripping on roots as she did so. She slowly backed up, facing the others, and trying to make herself seem as small as possible.
Why did they have to see me like this? Her hearts screamed, wrenching in pain. They can't they can't know the truth! Large drops of liquid grew at the corners of her eyes, spilling over like acid tears. The coal eyes searched the face of her friends, knowing the disgust from the stench, wishing that they would leave. Those eyes were full of pain, the pain of being seen in the worst way imaginable, by he people that she loved most.
And why, why? did Kiro have to be there. She knew that when he complimented her, and 'dazzled' her, that there was truth, and meaning behind his words and actions. That he had meant what he said, but Kasumi was to oblivious to notice. To notice that he shell of emotions had cracked for him, and that he had slipped inside of her, and touched her heart. They may have only recently met, but Kasumi, not having experienced the emotion before, loved him.
"Don't come any closer!" Her twisted voice cracked with emotion, as her feet gained a mind of their own, and stepped backwards again. She turned, and dashed into the thick forest, leaving a warning hanging in the air behind her. "Stay away!"
Trees flew by, until after maybe thirty seconds, the creature stopped, and skidded to a halt at the base of a huge tree. She curled up there, in a ball, trying to hide from the world that she knew, may never be the same for her.

{sorry for being gone } Kaito was put taking a brisk walk he yawned letting the cold air surround him. His upbeat eyes not concentrating on anything in particular when a yell was heard not to far away it sounded like a familiar voice. Kasumi! he dashed head first into the tree's with no regard for his own safety. He tripped and fell at the base of a large tree and pulled himself up grunting and muttering to himself when he froze.
There at the base of the tree lay a thing he could make out what it was. If I stay still it wont see me. He let his breath go slowly as he didn't dare move. Missing the earlier transformation he had know way of know it was Kasumi. He stood there for what felt like hours tell he told himself that if he didn't get a move on it was going to wake up anyway. Kaito careful took a step on painfully after another tell. Snap!. He had managed to step on a large branch and crack it.

Kaito...? Kasumi's mind snapped as soon as she saw him. Why did everyone that she had just met have to see her like this? "Stay away Kaito!" The monster's voice said. More acid-like tears bubbled out of the thing's eyes and down it's deformed, red face.
"W-why? Why!?" It roared, clutching it's hands to it's head, and shaking it back and forth. "Stay back! All of you! Don't come any closer!" Kasumi stood up, and sidestepped out of the base of the tree. She kept taking steps away, trying to run away from to truth.
"Y-you don't know what I might do to you! Just, leave!" She kept taking more and more steps backwards, until her retreating form was swallowed up by the shadows of the trees. It appeared that she had gone further away, but she was actually cowering in the shadow of a particularly large tree.
Kasumi hated her friends seeing her like that, but deep inside, she needed their comforting words, she need to know that she was loved. The monster was to much of a coward to show herself, but in to much emotional pain to go to far away.

Tada closed her eyes and took a deep breath before standing straight. She slowly let out her breath before walking over to Kasumi, trying not to stumble the whole way. Before even thinking about what she was doing, Tada wrapped her arms around Kasumis mutated neck in a hug. "Kasumi. I'm sorry. I....I won't lie to you. I am scared....but...your....your like my sister and I won't let anything change that!" Tada said in a soft whisper, waiting for Kasumi to respond, hoping that she wouldn't notice the tears in Tada's eyes.

Kiro covered his nose and mouth when Kasumi dashed off. The smell was horrible. It was the most disgusting thing he ever smelled. "Kasumi!" He yelled, chasing after her. He removed his hand from his mouth so he could run regularly. He continued to run, even with the horrible smell, even when she said not to follow. "Kasumi!" He called out again. He sped his pace up. He was running as fast as he could, which wasn't very fast at all...but he was managing.
He squinted his eyes and in the distance, he saw the figure of her her monstrous form. He stopped and leaned up against a tree. He breathed heavily and took a few deep breathes before running again. He felt like he was going to collapse...and at perfect timing, it started to rain. Of course it would rain at a time like this. He finally caught up to Kasumi and the others. He fell to his knees and began taking deeper breaths. "Ka...sumi.." He breathed. Kiro struggled to stand. His legs were throbbing. He watched as Tada latched onto Kasumi's neck. He knew what he had to do. "Kasumi...don't run away." He said as he edged closer to her. He reached out a hand and touched the skin of her monster form.
It was her arm. Even like this, he still felt that urge of happiness when he touched her. His arms slowly and gently wrapped around her arm. He tightened his grip and rested his head against the arm. "Kasumi...please...don't run away from me!" He felt the water coming to his eyes. He didn't want to cry. He hated crying in front of people, but the watery beads formed at the edges of his eyes and slowly rolled down his cheeks.

"Why?!" The monster cried. "Why do you want to help such a creature so much! A-aren't you afraid of me!" Their compassion confused Kasumi. She was so used to being surrounded by people who hated her, not loved her. She trued to wrench free of the two's grasp, but she could not match the two holding her down.
"I could hurt you! I-I don't wan to hurt the people I love." Acid-like tears streamed down her face again. "Let go of me! I, I might hurt you, unintentionally! I've done horrible things in this form, And I would never forgive myself i I hurt you! Please stay away from me!"
